This tutorial provides an overview of how to add transitions in Microsoft PowerPoint.

  1. Open an existing presentation in PowerPoint.


  2. From the slide sorter, select a slide.


  3. Select the Animations tab. 


  4. Select the Transitions drop-down.


  5. Choose a transition from the menu.


  6. Select the Preview button to test the transition.
