How to Add SmartArt Objects in Microsoft PowerPoint

  1. Open a new or existing PowerPoint presentation.


  2. Select the Insert tab.


  3. Select the SmartArt icon. 


  4. Choose a SmartArt object from the menu.


  5. Click the OK button.



  6. The SmartArt object will automatically be placed on the slide. If appropriate, fill in each text area for your SmartArt object.

  7. When you are finished editing the SmartArt object, click the Close button.

  8. If you want to make changes to the SmartArt object, click on the object's sidebar.
