Changes to Reserved Readings Starting in Fall 2010

Starting in fall 2010, Ereserves will be in a transition period regarding required textbooks. As UMUC's Textbook Services begins its program to provide eChapters, Ereserves will begin to phase out placing chapters of required textbooks in electronic reserves.
Ereserves is working in conjunction with Textbook Services to make this transition as easy as possible. For fall 2010, Ereserves will be accepting requests for chapters from required textbooks only if the eChapters in your classroom are not yet available.
As the eChapters become available in your classroom, Ereserves will remove any required textbook chapters placed under Reserved Readings in your classroom and will not be accepting requests for required textbook chapters.
By spring 2011, Ereserves will no longer accept requests for required textbooks, as they will be handled by Textbook Services through the eChapters program.
