NetLibrary is Now eBook Collection (on EBSCOhost)

NetLibrary is now a part of the EBSCO family of resources with the new name of eBook Collection.

Changes to Reserved Readings Starting in Fall 2010

Starting in fall 2010, Ereserves will be in a transition period regarding required textbooks. As UMUC's Textbook Services begins its program to provide eChapters, Ereserves will begin to phase out placing chapters of required textbooks in electronic reserves.

Important Announcement about Harvard Business Review Access

Starting with the summer 2009 semester, Harvard Business Review articles found in the Business Source Complete database cannot be assigned to students as required course material due to the publisher's restrictions.

As part of its collection management assessment for fiscal year 2009, Information and Library Services (ILS) performed a careful review of UMUC's library electronic resources in light of current budget constraints. In addition, ILS explored new resources that could be added or serve as substitutes to better support UMUC's programs.
