To edit these templates, you need to use an HTML Editor. We recommend Netscape Composer as it is a free editor. However, you will need to download the Netscape 7 Browser because composer is no longer included in version Netscape 8 or higher. The instructions below are written for Netscape Composer, however the process for using another HTML editor will be similar.
- Click on the template link you want to edit. (This will open the template in the browser.)
- Click on (This opens the file in Composer).
- Edit the page appropriately using the Composer Toolbar features (Don't forget to change the Class Bar)
- Click on
- In
the dialog box, click on "" (yellow
folder at top right of
box --
). - Name the folder (such as "lecture_one" or "session-one) be sure to use underscores instead of spaces
- Double-Click on the folder you have just created to open it.
- Click on Save. (This will save all images in your new folder) .
- FTP the folder and all its contents to your polaris account. (See instructions on how to FTP, if you need assistances.)
