Mind maps can assist with understanding concepts by offering a visual method of organizing and displaying information, providing context in either a general or specific manner. Join Floyd Csir, Instructional Support Specialist in UMUC's Center of Support of Instruction, as he discusses the usefulness of mind maps and demonstrates how free mind map software can be used in online classrooms.
