Laddie Odom, Multimedia Producer in UMUC’s Center of Support of Instruction, will share his presentation Mapping Newly Identified Web 2.0 Benefits to Known Best Practices in Distance Education, which he delivered at the 2010 EDEN conference in Valencia, Spain, earlier this year. Laddie will impart how his experiences as both a UMUC employee and a student in the Master of Distance Education program helped to inform his paper and will demonstrate how such mapping can assist in vetting Web 2.0 resources.
