Deb Schroeder - CSI, Senior Instructional Support Specialist
Deb Schroeder has been with UMUC for over twenty years. She spent four years in Undergraduate Admissions prior to moving to the Graduate School. While working in General Management Programs, Deb became fascinated with technology and pursued an education in computer science. Upon completing her degree in Management Information Systems, Deb became a Distance Education Coordinator in 1999. Deb now resides in the Center for Support of Instruction (CSI) as a Senior Instructional Support Specialist.
Deb has a strong background in art and graphical design. While at The Graduate School, Deb has put both her technical and artistic talents to work on a variety of projects including developing the original Graduate School Web site, training faculty, assisting with course design, and providing the layout and design of the DE Oracle.
Deb has taken several courses in the Publication Design program at the University of Baltimore. Deb chose this program to gain a better understanding of computer and print graphic design. Armed with her new-found skills and knowledge, Deb has initiated a new design approach to the DE Oracle. She is also working on some future interactive, multimedia-based faculty training projects.
